We have walked down the African streets and seen ladies adorning beautiful African braids. The underlying thought for hair braiding is the African woman's desire for beauty.

Hair braiding the African style
When we entered into the hair salons, what did we see? we found about 7 women braiding one girl's hair. Amazing!
But most of the hair salons are open air salons. The big hair braiding salons are well lit rooms with pictures of African braids hanging on the salon walls.
So, the typical African hair braiding scenario is : You walk into the hair salon, you are faced with the hair braiding almanacs having a hundred or more braiding styles to chose from. You chose one braiding image as reference for your hair style, based on your taste and how much money you have. You then take your seat and wait for your hair to be braided.
