| This painting was inspired from an ancient tradition in Southern Nigeria. The hide and seek game was played at night between lovers. It was a time for expression of love and commitment. Here, Silver chooses to illuminate the setting with strong rays of light. The tropical sun can be seen piercing through the canopy created by the tree branches and leaves. The beautiful girl lies, exhausted behind the tree trunk. Her flowing white garment licking the soft, moist forest floor.
