So, another hot day in Accra and the venue was the Accra Arts and Culture Center.

Was greeted by sellers eager to convince on what to buy from them.

Quite a long list of artworks on display there.

The jewelry section was good. A wide selection of Earrings, arm bands and bracelets and necklaces.
They were made from different items... wood, fish bone, stone (The famous Black stone), horn, glass. There were also the famous West African Trade beads on display.

Prices were reasonable taking into mind the fact that it was in the capital city.
Did try to get to know the artisans behind the jewelry making, but the sellers seemed reluctant. I guess there is an agreement, to keep their business intact.

They were not interested in having you circumvent their gate-keeper role

There were also sculptures in wood, brass and bronze. Did sight some Benin bronzes, as well as some nicely carved ebony wood sculptures.

The world famous Djembe drum featured prominently in many shops. Different sizes.
